Faculty Positions

Beijing Jiaotong University (BJTU) is a national key university of China, under the direct administration of the Ministry of Education. BJTU is one of the first universities in China authorized to confer master’s and doctoral degrees autonomously, one of the first National 211 Project universities, one of Innovation Bases of the National 985 Project, and one of the 56 universities authorized to establish a Graduate School in China. BJTU Located in the Beijing Haidian district, which is one of the closest key university to Tiananmen Square.

School of Mechanical, Electronic and Control engineering is one of the 13 faculties in BJTU. We have a strong academic staff team, which include two academicians of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, 34 professors and 54 associate professors. Among the staff members, 78.7％ of the staff owned Ph.D degree.

At present, there is one postdoctoral research station, 1 first-level site for Ph. D degree, 6 second-level sites for Ph.D degree and 12 professional sites for the Master’s degree. And the key national discipline which is Transportation Vehicle Application Engineering was ranked top three in National Discipline Evaluation in 2012, the level one discipline which is Mechanical Engineering was ranked 29 in National Discipline Evaluation in 2012. Also we has one national authentication lab on measure-Structure Strength Test, one Ministry of Education key laboratory, one Engineering Research Center of Ministry of Education, one Beijing Key laboratory. In recent two years, School of Mechanical, Electronic and Control engineering has received about 200 million yuan research funding.
