He introduced his artistic and technological work, "Iron Horse Dancer," a collaborative creation with faculty and students from the Beijing Dance Academy. He described the beauty of the harmony between robots and humans in the piece, which showcases an innovative exploration of the cross-disciplinary integration of mechanics and art. He encouraged the new students to bravely break through disciplinary boundaries during their university years, discover the charm of their majors through exploration, and achieve self-growth through innovation.

At the conference, representatives from both senior and new student cohorts jointly performed a recitation titled "The Light of MECE: Passing the Torch." The performance addressed common questions and concerns new students have about university life, including academics, research, and social service. It encouraged all freshmen to plan their university years carefully, to water their ideals with sweat, and to forge a brilliant future through practical work.
This welcoming conference is a crucial part of the orientation education for new students at ME. It not only provided the freshmen with a more comprehensive understanding of the school but also clarified their direction for future efforts. Bearing the expectations of their teachers and elders, all new students will practice the "Zhi Xing" motto and the MECE spirit of "sincerity, pragmatism, innovation, and enterprise," forging ahead courageously in the wave of intelligent manufacturing to write their own magnificent chapter of youth.
