Robotics Engineering

The Robotics Engineering program leverages Beijing Jiaotong University's over three decades of profound teaching and research in the field of robotics. Rooted in the national development strategy for intelligent manufacturing and smart equipment, it integrates the advantages of multiple disciplines including mechanics, electronics, control, and artificial intelligence. With a focus on cutting-edge technologies in smart equipment and robotics, and supported by the Key Laboratory of Advanced Manufacturing and Control Technology for Transportation Equipment of the Ministry of Education, as well as platforms such as the Robotics Institute, the Institute of Intelligent Robots and Systems, and the Rail Transit Intelligent Detection Technology Institute, the program has cultivated a large number of experts, scholars, and engineering technical talents in the field of robotics. Its distinctive feature is the holistic cultivation covering the entire chain of "mechanism-perception-control-intelligence-system."
