【Academic Lecture】Shahab Sokhansanj, head of Columbia University

     Professor Shahab Sokhansanj, head of Columbia University students material and bioenergy research group, was invited to our college to give academic reports and  conduct academic exchanges with teachers and students of our college. 

     On the morning of October 28, 2019, professor Shahab Sokhansanj, head of Columbia University students' material and bioenergy research group, UK was invited by professor yanlinbo of our hospital to give an academic report and conduct academic exchange with teachers and students of our hospital. Professor yanlinbo received the visiting professor Shahab Sokhansanj and the two sides held cordial and friendly talks.

         Professor Shahab Sokhansanj made an academic report entitled "The Logistics Of Biomass Supply" in The large meeting room on The eighth floor Of The mechanical building. A total of more than 40 teachers and related graduate students from the school of mechanical and electrical engineering participated in the "face to face with masters" teacher forum activity. This report mainly introduces that biomass energy comes from a wide range of sources and is a very clean energy, which can be used for various purposes such as electricity generation. Shahab Sokhansanj also briefly talked about the application of biomass energy in various countries in the world, and pointed out that biomass energy is widely used and can be used in various industries. This master face-to-face activity, the report content expanded the students' vision, aroused everyone's great interest. During the presentation, teachers and students actively raised relevant academic questions.
