The Robotics Institute is mainly engaged in the study of robot basic theory and the application of key technologies, aiming at the front of the international robotics research.
Robotics Institute has features and advantages in the areas of design of parallel manipulators and analysis of related scientific problems. Robotics Institute has made a series of achievements in terms of the synthesis of parallel manipulators, analysis of performance and control, and robotic equipments research and development in recent years. More than 150 papers have been published on either internationally or domestically authorized journals, including more than 60 papers which can be retrieved by SCI/EI.
The Institute has once obtained the 1st prize in the Provincial Science and Technology Progress contests, the Science Award nomination of Ministry of Education of China in Higher Education, and has more than 20 patents. Especially in the structural synthesis of lower degrees of freedom parallel manipulators, the Robotics Institute possesses a certain international influence, and the relevant research paper has been cited more than 120 times. Many large-scale mechanical and electrical equipments also have been developed in the Robotics Institute.
Therefore, the Robotics Institute has performed the outstanding contributions to the manufacturing industry, the energy and automation industry, the intelligent and low energy consumption industry and so on.
