Introduction of Engineering Research Center of Structure Reliability and Operation Measurement Technology of Rail Guided Vehicles(BJTU)

 

According to the Technology Letter from the Ministry of Education [2007] the 72nd document “the Ministry of Education about Issues 2007 Year Ministry of Education Engineering Center Items of basic construction initiating a project plan Notice”, Beijing Jiaotong University Engineering Research Center of Structure Reliability and Operation Measurement Technology of Rail Guided Vehicles was approved to initiate a project officially construction in October 12, 2007. The project was supported by Beijing Jiao Tong University, and DATONG ELECTRIC LOCOMOTIVE CO., LTD., CHANGCHUN RAILWAY VEHICLES CO., LTD., SIFANG ROLLING STOCK CO., LTD., QIQIHAR RAILWAY ROLLING STOCK CO., LTD. participate in the construction as units of building together.

 

The target of Center isbased on the principle of studying and researching for applying, to build an important research base focusing on technique research and development, achievement, personal training, technique consultation and technique promotion in the railway locomotives and vehicles technical fields through associating with domestic vehicle academes, manufacturing enterprises, use and management department and wide exchanges and cooperation with international advanced research and development institutions, to promote basic research innovation and research results transformation; to form a cooperation chain with positive feedback effect, to speed up the process of digestion and absorption of imported technologies, to develop gradually key technology and products with independent intellectual right, to provide necessary support for sustainable development of orbital transportation. The Center will become a platform for R&D of key technology, research results transformation, digestion and absorption of imported technologies and products and senior professional and technical personnel training.
